Cabin in the Snow

Life
A green sake bottle
Yuki No Bosha "Cabin in the Snow"

I was in Fred Meyer tonight for camping groceries, and passed by the wine section. I idly wondered if they had any sake at all, so I poked around until I found their small selection. I found a few things I can find other places, but they also had several bottles of Yuki No Bosha from Saiya Shuzoten, which is my favorite sushi night sake. That was a nice thing to find at a plain old grocery store:  The only other place I've found it so far,  besides Shoko Sushi,  is a dealer.

It was one of two consolation prizes for today's discovery that  the new X100VI arrived with a defect after its seemingly miraculous delivery. The other was finding a mint 28mm/f2.8 for my Olympus OM-2N.

(Bottle shot with an X-T5 and Sigma's 18-50mm/f2.8. I'm not a zoom guy and came close to going with Fuji's overhauled 16-50/f2.8-4.8 once I decided I would like one,  but the reviews for the Sigma were much more enthusiastic, and this is a summer road trip lens, not a year-rounder. Very happy to be headed down to Central Oregon for camping tomorrow morning, and I'll be taking this and my Olympus OM-2N along.)
