Dinner at Lechon
Photography
Al and I had dinner at Lechon last night. We started with their
What the Chef is Drinking, "Lechon fat-washed barrel aged cachaca,
Demerara, bitters, orange peel, smoke." They're pretty great. They also
have a "build your own Old Fashioned menu" for the next drink. This
time around I did lapsang and blackstrap.
After dinner we took a long walk, up to the Steel Bridge along the waterfront, then across and back up the Eastside Esplanade until we got to the Hawthorne Bridge, and back down through downtown.
It was warm but pretty nice to walk around in. We sat in the shade of the park across the street from the justice center for a while and watched people taking phone pictures of dramatic shadows on tall buildings lit up by the setting sun.
