Pool players at Sam's Billiards
PhotographyWe stopped with some friends for drinks and dinner before going to see Barb Wire at the Hollywood. Al and I sat down next to the pool tables for a few minutes, waiting for our friends to close out their tab.
There are some really nice colors and shadows there, I've been struggling to find good scenes for monochrome shooting lately, and the starkness of the light and shadows was too much to pass up. Glad I left the raw option open for these. These were al taken with the OM-5 and a Panasonic 20mm/f1.7, which is ridiculously small and light. Right up there with Fujifilm's XF28mm/f2.8 (and I guess just a bit faster by the time you factor in the M43/APS-C equivalencies).
